Brianne Baker

Brianne is a UX and visual designer and strategist interested in educational and emerging technologies; the intersection of the material and the digital; mission-critical and special-case interaction design; and addressing the needs of humans at all points on the age spectrum. She has degrees in studio art and interaction design, and has worked as the lead designer of Lightseed, a VR development company in Portland, Oregon and as the former Creative Director for Night & Day Studios. Brianne has developed games and educational software for Fortune 100 companies such as Mattel, AT&T / WarnerMedia, and NewsCorp. Brianne has designed over 100 published apps and experiences and directed international development for youth brands; she recently designed a voice interface to welcome and streamline the hospital admissions-and-procedures process for patients of all backgrounds. She was a participant of MIT’s Hackathon “Reality Virtually” and a fellow in the Oculus Launch Pad program.

The Peace Literacy Institute designs curricular materials that anyone can download and use for free to support Peace Literacy in their schools and communities. We also provide education rates for our workshops so teachers can make the most effective use of the curriculum.
